Ingredients


For Maggi Ball Mixture
2 cups maggi noodles
1/4 cup finely chopped onions
1/4 cup finely chopped capsicum
1/4 cup finely chopped cabbage
1 tsp finely chopped green chillies
2 tbsp maggi tastemaker
1/4 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
1 tbsp plain flour (maida)
1 tbsp cornflour
salt to taste

To Be Mixed Into Slurry Using 1/3 Cup Water
3 tbsp plain flour (maida)
3 tbsp cornflour
1 tbsp maggi tastemaker
salt to taste

Other Ingredients
15 small cheese cubes
2 cups crushed maggi noodles
oil for deep frying

Method

For maggi cheese balls

  1. To make {span class="bold1"}maggi cheese balls{/span}, combine maggie noodles, 2 cups of water and salt in a deep bowl.
  2. Mix well and cook on a medium flame for 8 to 10 minutes until its perfectly cooked. Allow it to cool.
  3. In a deep bowl, add boiled maggi noodles, onion, capsicum, cabbage, green chillies, maggi masala, turmeric powder, plain flour, cornflour and salt.
  4. Mix it well and take a portion of the mixture using oil greased hands and slightly flatten it.
  5. Place a cheese cube in the center and properly seal it to make a round shape ball.
  6. Repeat steps 2 and 3 to make the remaining maggi cheese balls.
  7. Dip each ball into the slurry and coat it well in the crushed maggi.
  8. Heat oil in a deep pan, and deep fry few maggi balls at a time.
  9. Deep fry them on a medium flame until light golden brown in colour. Drain well.
  10. Serve the {span class="bold1"}maggi cheese balls{/span} hot with ketchup.
