Ingredients


For Neer Dosa
1 cup rice flour (chawal ka atta)
1/4 cup finely chopped onions
3 tbsp finely chopped carrot
1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
1 tsp finely chopped green chillies
1/2 tbsp chopped curry leaves (kadi patta)
2 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)
salt and to taste
oil for greasing
6 tsp ghee for cooking

For Serving
coconut chutney
sambhar

Method

For neer dosa

  1. To make {span class="bold1"}vegetable neer dosa{/span}, in a deep bowl, add rice flour, onion, carrot, cumin seeds, green chillies, curry leaves, coriander, salt, pepper and 3 cups of water.
  2. Whisk well to make a lump free batter.
  3. Heat a non-stick tava (griddle), grease with oil and sprinkle little water on the tava (griddle) and wipe it off gently using a cloth.
  4. Pour a ladleful of the batter on hot tava to make a dosa.
  5. Drizzle a little ghee evenly over it and cook the dosa on both the sides on medium flame for 4 minutes until it becomes brown and crisp.
  6. Repeat steps 3 and 5 to make remaining 5 vegetable neer dosas.
  7. Serve {span class="bold1"}vegetable neer dosa{/span} hot with chutney and sambhar.
