For Almond Bread
1 1/4 cups almonds (badam)
1/2 cup readymade almonds (badam)
4 tbsp powdered flaxseeds (alsi)
2 tsp apples cider
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder

    Method
  1. Put the almonds in a mixer and blend till smooth.
  2. Combine the almond milk, flax seeds powder and apple cider vinegar in a bowl and mix well. Keep aside.
  3. Combine the almond flour, salt, baking powder in a deep bowl and mix well.
  4. Add the almond milk mixture and 2 tbsp of water and mix very well using a spatula.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased 200 mm. (8”) × 100 mm. (4”) rectangle aluminium loaf tin and bake in a pre-heated oven at 200ºc (400ºf) for 35 minutes.
  6. Cool slightly, demould and cut into 11 equal slices.
  7. Serve immediately or store in an air-tight container and use as required.

    1. To prepare homemade almond bread, put the almonds in a mixer jar.

       Hi, If you are using ready made almond flour, use 2 1/2 cups of the almond flour. yes you can replace almond milk with soy milk..

    Hi Madam, I''m on LCHF diet due to diabetic issues.I was looking for the recipe of eggless keto bread. Maam i would want to know if I can prepare the same by steaming. If so, how much time must the mix be kept for?

       Hi, We have not tried steaming , but You can try steaming the bread, on medium flame for about 25 minutes. After steaming check it using a toothpick, if it comes out clean it is done. If not it needs more 5 to 6 minutes. Do try the recipe and give us your feedback..

    This recipe was an utter failure for me. Only the crust cooked and the insides didn''t cook through at all. I followed the recipe exactly but had to pop in the oven extra 30 min still the almond flour Wouldn''t cook through. I am but new to baking nor is my oven old. This just want the right recipe for me. So a small batch and check before you waste the ingredients. I tried twice, one with the measurements here and once halved to test if i did anything wrong but it was the same issue.

       Hi, This recipe is a tried and tested recipe, if in case the almond milk or the water is added.. a little extra.. it might feel like it is under cokked.. if this has happened just cook for more 5 minutes in the same temperature. And also once it is out from the oven.. and try to cut it out.. it will stick to the knife.. so allow it to cool for 5 to 10 minutes and den cut while it is warm. I would request you to try the recipe one more time.. looking at the big images which we have updated.. and give us your feedback..

    I make this bread often as i want to avoid gluten and this is a perfect recipe. What''s brilliant is that the bread tastes great and does not need anything with it. I have it with my coffee or just as a snack. The bread is made with super foods almonds, almond milk and flak seeds. Far superior to the bread you buy in the Indian market which at best is a combo off wheat and maida. Nothing like baking your bread at home.
