Ingredients


For Amla Chutney
1/2 cup deseeded and roughly chopped amla (indian gooseberries)
1 cup chopped coriander (dhania)
1 tbsp roughly chopped green chillies
1/2 tsp chopped ginger (adrak)
1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
1/4 tsp asafoetida (hing)
1/4 tsp black salt (sanchal)
2 tsp sugar
salt to taste

Method

For amla chutney

  1. To make {span class="bold1"}amla chutney{/span}, in a mixer put amla, coriander, green chillies, ginger, cumin seeds, asafoetida, black salt and sugar.
  2. Add ¼ cup of water. Blend it till smooth.
  3. Serve or store {span class="bold1"}amla chutney{/span} in an airtight container and refrigerate it.
