Ingredients


For Quick Gajar ka Halwa
4 cups thickly grated carrot
4 tbsp ghee
1 1/2 cups milk
1/2 cup condensed milk
1/2 tsp cardamom (elaichi) powder
1 tbsp almond (badam) slivers
1 tbsp chopped cashew nut (kaju)
1 tbsp pistachio slivers

Method

For quick gajar ka halwa

  1. To make {span class="bold1"}gajar ka halwa{/span}, heat the ghee in a pan, add the carrots and sauté on a medium flame for a minute, while stirring occasionally.
  2. Add the milk, mix well and cover with a lid and cook on medium flame for 15 minutes until the milk reduces.
  3. Add the condensed milk and cardamom powder , mix well and cook on high flame for 5 minutes, while stirring continuously.
  4. Add the almond slivers, chopped cashew nuts and pista slivers. Mix well.
  5. Serve the {span class="bold1"}gajar ka halwa{/span} hot.
