Besan toast sandwich video. besan bread toast is made using protien rich chickpea flour (gram flour) then some finely chopped vegetables and spices are added into the besan batter. You can any other vegetables of your choice, either grated or finely chopped.

Ingredients


For Besan Toast Sandwich
6 bread slices
3 tbsp tomato ketchup
1 1/2 tbsp green chutney
4 1/2 tbsp grated processed cheese
3 tbsp oil for greasing

To Be Mixed Into Besan Mixture
1 cup besan (bengal gram flour)
1 tbsp rice flour (chawal ka atta)
1/4 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
1 1/4 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp coriander (dhania)
1/4 cup finely chopped onions
1/4 cup finely chopped tomatoes
1 tsp finely chopped green chillies
2 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)
salt to taste
1 cup water

For Serving
green chutney
tomato ketchup

Method

For besan toast sandwich

  1. To make {span class="bold1"}besan toast sandwich{/span}, heat 1 tbsp oil in a broad non-stick pan.
  2. Dip each bread slice in the besan mixture and place 2 bread slices on the pan.
  3. Cook on medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes on both the sides until golden brown.
  4. Apply ½ tbsp green chutney on one slice of bread and 1 tbsp tomato ketchup on other cooked besan bread slice.
  5. Sprinkle 1½ tbsp grated cheese on chutney besan toast and sandwich with other tomato besan toast.
  6. Remove in a plate and cut diagonally into 4 equal portions.
  7. Serve the {span class="bold1"}besan toast sandwich{/span} immediately with tomato ketchup and green chutney.
